Through its core themes, heritage praxis, indigenous knowledge, digital transitions, sustainability, and living cultural landscapes, the conference encourages critical reflection and cross-disciplinary dialogue. TEMPORIUM 2026 seeks to critically re-envision heritage as both memory and method within the evolving continuum of human settlements, from rural landscapes to urban agglomerations, positioning it at the confluence of architectural knowledge, cultural practice, ecological wisdom, immersive digital technologies, and sustainable innovation. The conference aims to foster multidisciplinary dialogue that integrates cultural heritage and technological advancement, generating policy-relevant frameworks for sustainable landscapes, resilient communities, and inclusive economies in the 21st century.

ICOMOS India — South Zone

ICOMOS India is a membership-based organization that provides a forum where individuals and representatives of institutions concerned with the conservation, protection, rehabilitation, and enhancement of cultural heritage sites and places can meet to exchange information and views on principles and practices in the field. Membership is drawn from across the country, divided into six zones to ensure adequate regional representation. Regional members are represented on the Executive Committee by a Regional Representative.

INTACH — Delhi & Bengaluru

The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), founded in 1984 in New Delhi, is dedicated to promoting heritage awareness and conservation across India. Now one of the world’s largest heritage organizations, it operates through more than 228 Chapters nationwide. Over four decades, INTACH has led efforts to preserve India’s natural, built, and intangible heritage. Headquartered in New Delhi, it functions through specialized divisions including Architectural Heritage, Natural Heritage, Art and Material Heritage, Intangible Cultural Heritage, HECS, Heritage Crafts and Community, Chapters, INTACH Heritage Academy, Heritage Tourism, the Listing Cell, and the INTACH Knowledge Centre.
